ANXIETY

Anxiety is a “normal reaction to stress,” but at what point does anxiety become a disorder? The initial onset of anxiety can have a positive effect in situations, helping one to address situations with urgency. Anxiety can help one to focus and be more present when a challenging task arises. Some known reactions have included the use of alcohol or drugs, explosive tempers, unproductive self-expression, harming oneself or others, lack of self-value, overworking for distraction, or isolation from people and places.
